Can I adjust or modify my system design?

We recommended adjusting and modifying the system design only when necessary. You can modify your system design with our move and delete tools within 'System design' in the WellCube workspace. When deleting or moving a space or device, be aware that the system will inform you of all nuances that should be considered before making a change. If you have any questions, we recommend that you reach out to your technical sales manager for assistance.

What happens when I delete a space?

Deleting a space also deletes all of the subspaces and devices that are nested within that space. If there are devices within the impacted subspaces, those devices will also be deleted. You can view this as deleting a folder that has lots of files and folders within.

What happens when I delete or move a gateway?

Deleting a gateway can have a significant impact on your system design, so make sure to read all of the onscreen prompts carefully as you proceed.

As a reminder, devices (purifiers/sensors) must connect to a gateway in order to connect to the internet. With that in mind, when deleting a gateway, the system will inform you of all purifiers and sensors that are impacted by the deletion. If you choose to proceed with deleting the gateway, you’ll need to factory reset the devices that were previously associated with the gateway before assigning them to a new gateway.

When you move a gateway, the software will ask you if you’d like to maintain the current devices that are connected with that gateway or if you’d like to remove the assigned devices. If the purifiers or sensors are maintaining their connectivity to the gateway in its new location, we recommend selecting to keep the current assignments as they are.
