Commissioning Air, Air+, Sense+

Once you’ve successfully commissioned a gateway it’s time to commission purifiers and sensors to your gateway. Using your system design schematic, select the device closest to the gateway to commission next. This will help build out the Thread network and ensure devices can communicate with each other.

Now, once you have your device unboxed, in its rightful place, plugged in, and ready to commission, access the WellCube Integrator app to begin the commissioning process for your device. Select your site, and navigate to the associated Gateway details screen for the device you're looking to commission. It should look something like this:

You should see a list of devices within pre-defined spaces. Use the space details for the device to locate the device you're trying to commission. Once you've located the virtual device, click on the device name. You’ll be redirected to the device detail screen, which should look something like this:

When the devices is powered on, as indicated by a white light on the purifier’s power button, click the ‘Commission device’ button to scan the device’s QR code and begin commissioning. We strongly recommend double checking and cross referencing the device name/location with the system design schematic before commissioning.

Troubleshooting

If the purifiers/sensors run into any issues during the commissioning process, you’ll be presented with a troubleshooting screen in which you’ll receive details about why the device was unable to connect. Follow the directions and attempt to bring the gateway online. Use the knowledgebase if you need further guidance.

Add more devices

Continue commissioning devices, until all devices on the floor have been commissioned to the correct gateways and spaces. Once you complete the floor, double check to confirm that your placements all match the system design schematic.
