What is commissioning?

Commissioning is the step after device installation that brings your devices online. If it’s the first installation at your location, you’ll likely work with a third party installer who will set up the devices and connect the on-premise devices to the cloud in their correct spaces. Depending on the size of the site, commissioning could take up to several days. If you add other devices to your system in the future, we have tools you can use to commission them yourself.

Commissioning is a critical step in the process not only because it’s when all your devices go live, but also because it’s when system control gets handed over to you and your admin team.

What do I need to know about commissioning?

An installer will install and commission devices based on the floor plans that you or someone at your organization supplied to your technical sales manager. The installer will have access to the WellCube Integrator app that walks them through the install and commissioning process for each device. Gateways get commissioned first, followed by purifiers.
